Gratitude
This week, Thursday is Thanksgiving Day. We thought it appropriate to give over the week’s Three Things to those that we’re grateful for here at Englin Consulting.
1) We work on projects and for causes we believe in. All of us at Englin Consulting have been blessed with opportunities to work on projects and for candidates and causes that we are passionate about. We are thankful to continue to work for clients that serve the values we wholeheartedly believe in. We’re lucky and we know it. Clients: THANK YOU!
2) We get to work with great people. Politics is not always as a friendly business, but somehow we’ve managed to become allied with those in the business who understand friendship, loyalty and honesty are the hallmarks of success. We are honored to have many true friends among our circle of colleagues. If it weren’t for opportunities to partner with truly remarkable professionals we wouldn’t be making nearly as big a difference for our clients. Colleagues: THANK YOU!
3) We have fantastic, supportive families. Cliche, yes, but true. When you choose your profession based on passion, there are sacrifices that are made along the way. In our case, it has been many a Thanksgiving, birthday, and school play that has been missed because we were needed on the campaign trail or to turn something around urgently for a client. To those who have borne the brunt of our choices and have understood, we are so grateful.
