Measuring Advocacy is Hard
Measuring advocacy is hard but not impossible, and advocacy organizations could make their efforts more effective, efficient, and strategic by taking a more rigorous approach to it. In a presentation at the 2010 Personal Democracy Forum, I laid out a path to better measurement of advocacy. The slides are posted below:
